Today I came in for a re-call service and I had a coupon from program headquarters for an oil change. Apparently it was not for the right oil for my 2008 Tundra. Lynne Trueblood was waiting on me and to my delight she used a coupon for the correct oil change. I want her to be given the proper accolades for making my visit to Toyota of Puyallup the MOST pleasant one I have ever encountered. Thank you, again Lynne for the best visit ever.

I am writing to express my deep appreciation for one of your amazing employees, Mike Bibeau, who consistently provides me with top-notch customer service. There is no one else I know who is just as caring and thorough as Mike. I always look forward to my visits, because I know I'll enjoy a satisfying experience. Mike always takes the time to ensure that all of my needs have been met, always provides me with the prompt service, always communicates to me in a clear, kind and helpful manner, and most importantly, leaves me feeling like an appreciated, welcomed and satisfied customer - guaranteeing a long-lasting loyalty to your Location.
It's an extreme pleasure working with Mike B. I hope you will let him know that he is doing an exceptional job and that his efforts do not go unnoticed!

We just want to thank each of you for your service recently rendered us in the purchase of the 2010 Toyota Camry.
From our first impression, which was the call to Jerry Nix for an appointment when we purchased our 2009, our service from him and Steve on the 2010 purchase, the receptionist at the front desk, and also Teresa to close out the paperwork, we could not have been given finer attention and service.
This was a very big decision for us, and we were very reluctant to do any such purchase, and your patience and consideration made this transaction very much easier for us. Each of you were knowledgeable, understanding of our feelings, and were not high pressureed at all.
Each time we pass by Toyota of Puyallup, we pray God's blessing on each one individually and business prosperity because of your honesty and straightforwardness.
God bless you sincerely,

Dear Ms. Bivens,

We recently purchased a 2010 Corolla from Toyota of Puyallup and are enjoying this new little, gas saving, vehicle for everyday driving. Our experience at Toyota of Puyallup was a pleasant and enjoyable one and we have responded accordingly to both a telephone survey and an email survey. We especially found Josh Nestorov, our Sales Consultant, to be extremely professional, knowledgable and caring in our purchase of this vehicle. We absolutely enjoyed buying a car this time and that hasn't really been the case on previous new car purchases at other dealerships (not Toyota) in the past. We are sure that you know how fortunate your dealership is to have Josh working for you. We have to sum it up in just saying he is the best! We look forward to having our car serviced at your dealership and will always be happy to recommend Toyota of Puyallup and Josh to any friends that might be in the market for a vehicle. We look forward to meeting you at the dinner tomorrow night at the dealership.
Sincerely, Warren & Sun-Hui Johnson |

Hey Rob!

Thanks so much for your help in securing our 2 new vehicles. I came back to Toyota of Puyallup because I remembered the great experience I had when I bought the Tundra from you. (That was seven years ago--we're getting old!).
Sandy and I couldn't be happier. As you know, I'm not a nickel-dime shopper. I needed good vehicles at a reasonable price. And I needed the deal to be conducted professionally. The 7 years of absolute quality performance by my Tundra convinced me about Toyota. However it was the treatment I received during the transaction 7 years ago that made me want to do business with Toyota of Puyallup once again.
When we 1st started the car search, I already knew that I wanted a Yaris for me, but Sandy was really interested in a Hyundai Elantra for herself. We even test drove one and she liked it. However, our experience with their sales staff was, to say the least, abysmal. It was so bad that we were convinced that no matter what the price, I wasn't going to give them one red cent. That's how important professionalism is to me.
Both you and Greg made this deal happen. I bought 2 vehicles from you not because of some numbers on a piece of paper. I walked in there knowing what a reasonable retail price range was for both the vehicles. I'm sure I could've wandered around the Internet for the next 2 weeks until I found the absolute lowest price somewhere and arm-wrestled someone for floor mats. While I'm sure some people enjoy that kind of sport, I would rather stick a pen in my eye than go through that exercise.
It doesn't mean that I don't want a good price. The prices you quoted me for both vehicles were, I thought, reasonable. Your 1st quote for my trade in was reasonable right out the gate. By quoting reasonable prices from the beginning, you showed me that you valued my time, and respected me as a customer. THAT is what gets the deal done.
Thanks again for your professional assistance in getting these deals done. Please pass on my thanks to Greg and Tiffany. They both did an awesome job too.
I do have one question. (Please don't tell Tiffany because I think she might kick my butt!) I'm reconsidering getting some paint protection for my Yaris because of the long road trip I'm about to go on. I'm having nightmare visions of 18-wheelers tossing every rock in my direction. Can you point me in the right direction?
Thanks again, Steve |

Thank you, my new Toyota Crew Max truck is really nice! I love the hands free phone ,the stereo is very nice & clean sound even in the back seat. Ah, the sun roof is great too. The color & Int is perfect! It's fast and powerful and the traction control gives you a feeling of safety while pulling out into traffic even in the rain... wow.....it keeps you in control while keeping you straight and just glues you to the road!! I have never driven any thing like this (way under rated ), again thank you for locating the truck and getting the package I wanted and getting it here. Installation of extras/add on items were done on time. Your extra effort in helping with follow through on (all) levels to include keeping within my budget and spending some extra time to go over how every thing works was much appreciated.
Thank You and the staff for making my purchase here at Toyota of Puyallup such a pleasant experience! We not only will be recommending your dealership, but most importantly we will be recommending YO

Just a note to let you know what a fine Service Advisor you have in Fred Goetz. I brought in my 1989 Camry for a leaking oil problem and he treated me very well...explaining each of the possibilities and options in a friendly and honest way. Although a few issues came up along the way, Fred was very pleasant and very attentive to my service needs. When I left today I thought to myself that now I know why I passed up a few other Toyota dealers on my way to Toyota of Puyallup. Fred was a great front desk man to deal with.

I'd like to take a few moments of your time to recognize two employees at your Toyota of Puyallup dealership.
History: My first encounter with this dealership was on 11-03-08 when I purchased my first 2009 Toyota Tacoma from Joshua Nestorov. I found Joshua to be easy going, not high pressured, very positive attitude, patient and caring. He followed up with me after the sale ensuring I was happy. I'll admit, I am a very picky person and was very glad your dealership was able to meet my expectations. Due to the way Joshua treated me, I knew that any new purchases would be from Toyota of Puyallup.
My second purchased occurred on 03-28-10. I loved my 2009 Tacoma but with the current incentives going on, I wanted to see if a 2010 Tundra was in my future. Again, Joshua was very patient, showing me a few of the 2010 Tundra's. I loved the way they drove but felt like it was a step down when it came to installed equipment on the Tundra. That is when Jeff Goossens stepped in. Within a matter of minutes he found one on the lot that he felt would meet my expectations. He was right, it had everything I was looking for. Once again, the buying process was easy and simple.
I've purchased more vehicles over the years than I care to admit, but none of the other dealerships compare to Toyota of Puyallup. The customer service is second to none. This includes the Service Department. Every employee seems happy and proud to work there. The best way to describe it is "one big happy family." I've watched how the employees interact with other customers and they are very upbeat and respectful. A majority of the customers walk out with a smile on their face.
It's no wonder why your dealership received the Toyota President's Award for 24 consecutive years. With employees like Joshua and Jeff, your dealership is in good hands.
Please take a moment to personally recognize them as so often employees don't get the recognition they deserve.
I feel confident in recommending your dealership to friends and family when there in the market for a vehicle.
Respectfully submitted, Ronald R. Riehs Jr. |

Dear Sirs,

I would like to pass on a well deserved thanks to one of your employees and want to make sure you know of it. I just had my headlamp replaced on my '89 Toyota pick up truck yesterday and would like you to know that Mike Bibeau's help, demeanor, and service was excellent. We chatted about how hard it was to replace the headlamps and how he can look at realigning the angle of the lamps since I mentioned that I felt they may have been out of alignment. We shined them against the garage door to see if it was obvious.
I am a long time customer and remember when I brought my truck in when you were located in downtown Puyallup. Mike assisted me there many times as my memory serves me and I can tell you that he is a real good employee and he is the type of individual that makes a company good and the type of individual that makes customers want to come back to use your products and services. My experience was great and Mike was the biggest part of my transaction that day.
So thank you to Mike for handing my needs well, efficiently and with friendly tact. I appreciated it and will be back no doubt. Good employees like Mike are worth far more than their weight in gold.
Best Regards Customer |

Dear Toyota,

3/12/2010 |
In mid-January, I was hit by a man who ran his red light on my way to work one day. I was glad to be OK, but was sad about my car... I had purchased it in May of 2008; a 2009 Corolla. It ended up being totaled, and it still felt new. I was so happy to find that Toyota made the same color in a 2010 model; I really love the Capri Sea Metallic.
I knew I wanted to go back to the salesman I had before. He was wonderful! Having dealt with new-car buying before, I was so impressed with Greg Haifley, Sales Consultant, at Toyota of Puyallup when I met him in 2008. Then I came into it ready to deal with "yet another aggressive salesman." At other lots, they seem to fight over who will get to you first as soon as they see you. It was a nice change... I didn't find Greg overly aggressive. The atmosphere of the whole place is more laid-back. He was nice, friendly, professional, and easy to work with. I really appreciated his personality and his salesmanship.
So I went back to Greg this time. I dealt with him through email at first, telling him what happened and I was in the market for another car. I told him what I wanted and he found it for me. He was wonderful throughout the whole experience; so helpful and courteous and got me the car I wanted quickly. I wish every buying experience was like that! And the dealership was wonderful about the safety recall issue... I was still able to purchase the new car but until it was fixed I got to drive a loaner... that was just like my old car, and the same color!
I love my new car. It's comfortable, gets great gas mileage, and is fun to drive. I wouldn't ever hesitate in buying another Toyota in the future and I would recommend Toyota of Puyallup (and my salesman, Greg Haifley) to anyone!

Dear Kerry,

Thank you very much for your prompt response to my question. I whole heartedly agree with you that the media has really played this for all it's worth!
My wife and I have been loyal Toyota owners for over 30 years. As poor college students back in 1976 we needed a car to get to school with. We needed something reliable, economical and cheap! We found an older Corona 4 speed. We drove it for two years until we graduated and then bought a brand new Celica ST. Several years later we bought a new SR5 pickup truck and a few years after that we bought a brand new Celica GTS. In the past few years we have purchased a new Lexus ES 300 and most recently we got the new Tundra. In all those vehicles over all those years and literally 100's of thousands of miles, we never once had a single failure, breakdown or required a repair that was not normal wear and tear. During this same time we also bought a new Chevy truck which had several recalls and broke down 28 times in only five years and less than 60,000 miles.
We are truly sorry for what is being said about your Company in the Press, but our loyalty and future interest in your vehicles has not waivered. One other note I would like to add - Danny Loomis sold us our new Tundra. It was the best buying experience we have ever had. He is knowledgeable of the products, professional in his salesmanship, personable in his approach and one of the nicest people we have ever met. We have referred several people to the Puyallup dealership based upon our experience in the showroom and the performance of the vehicles!
Sincerely,
Dave and Karen White |

I write to you to tell you what I think of your Service Department. I want you to know that your Service Advisor Mike Bibeau is the person with whom I usually deal and am very well pleased with his service. Whenever I phone with a question, he is always most helpful and I like the way he handles things when I bring the car in for regular oil changes and services. He watches over my elderly car and helps keep it in fine running condition.
I also want to commend the other Service Advisors: Laurie, Fred, & Derrick. I've dealt with them all in the past and respect all of them.
You have a fine group working for you and I want you to know I fully appreciate that. Thank you.
I also appreciate the courtesy car washes after service.
Sincerely,

Kerri,
On 4/29/09 I purchased a new Toyota Tundra from Bryan Elder. It was the best experience I've ever had in purchasing a vehicle. Over the last 50 years I have purchased a lot of them. I've also been a sales person for over forty of those years so I know what to look for. Bryan, Cliff and Joe put up with me from approximately 6:30PM until 10:30PM. Every other Toyota dealership for miles around caused me to leave------saying I'll never buy a Toyota. Your service and parts held up their ends also.
I could go on and on, but I'd just like to let you know you have a good team working for you and being I retired last week I'll be out there recruiting new customers for you.

Hello John,
Please thank Mike Bibeau for a job well done. Mike did an excellent job
as my Service Advisor during my high-mileage 4Runner's recent visit to
your shop. My vehicle needed a considerable amount of work, and this was
a job that ended up with more than we all ever expected, with many
surprises along the route during the diagnosis. Mike communicated well
with me throughout the process, and kept me informed about what was
going on at all times. Mike is a true professional in every sense of the
word. He was able to keep track of the many details that this job
entailed, and it is clear he is well trained in providing the level of
customer service the Toyota brand is known for. He did a superb job
addressing my many concerns and requests during this visit.
Kudos also to Jim Craudell, Master Technician, who did a great job of
providing information on the technical aspects of the work that was
being recommended so I could make intelligent choices about how much to
invest in this older vehicle. I found Jim to be very knowledgeable and
patient, and he helped me better understand my vehicle and the work
required.
Last but not least, please thank Christina, who was a pleasure to work
with. When I found out that Mike was off yesterday, I was a little
concerned about picking it my rig without him being there (with all the
work that was done over the past week), but I did not hesitate to come
in after talking with Christina. She picked up the ball and carried it
as if she had been part of the team since I came into the shop. She is
very polite, easy to talk with, and it is evident to me that she cares
greatly about her customers.
With the team of professionals you have assembled, the quality of the
work product, and the competitive pricing offered, your Service
Department has earned my trust and my future business, as well my
referrals to others looking for a Service Department that stands out
from the crowd.
Thanks again,
Damon Plackis

Dear Ms. Bivens:
We are thoroughly enjoying our recently purchased Toyota Camry.
We want you to know dealing with Greg Haifley was a very pleasant experience. He was especially patient with us (being older folks as we are), informative and helpful. He made the purchasing transaction fun. Please thank him for us.
We also want you to know Cliff Samuels was patient and helpful, though "paperwork" is not as much fun ... Please thank him, too, for his help.
You are fortunate to have such special people working in your business.

Rich Conley,
Dear Rich, I've recently bought a 2009 Tundra from your dealership, and I wanted to send you a follow up letter of my appreciation for your customer service. In doing so, I want to tell you a little history. Last year 4/13/08, I came in to look at buying a new truck with a full back seat. I had bought from your dealership a new 2004 Tacoma Pre runner extended cab and was going to trade it in on a new truck. I wasn't sure which truck I wanted but came in to look. I met and worked with Danny Loomis at that time and his salesmanship was superb. I was looking at the Tacoma's and he suggested a Tundra because the prices were so attractive at that time. I really loved the custom black Tundra you had on the lot. However, the gas prices were very unattractive $4 per gallon and it worried me to think of a Tundra So I settled with a very nice Tacoma dual cab with all the bells and whistles. After buying the Tacoma I found while driving to work I kept rubber necking on your lot looking at the black Custom Tundra. This lasted about 3 months until the truck was no longer on your lot. Ever since I bought the Tacoma I would periodically think about the black Tundra, and just recently I saw the gray custom Tundra on your lot. WOW! The sight was too much for me to handle. Even though I was very happy with the Tacoma, I just like the custom Tundra better and in the long run would better suit my needs since I also pull a boat. So I told myself "Just do it". I came in and asked for Danny, but as it turned out he was on vacation and I was introduced to Lou Vigoreaux. Lou was absolutely fabu. Every need and desire was addressed with utmost courtesy and respect from building the right vehicle to finance to parts and service. Tricia Larson handled the business end with exemplary expertise and a smile. She presented the added features to choose from and explained them in an understandable way. I chose what I needed and signed on the dotted line. All in all every person from Lou, Tricia, and staff were stellar in this sale. Your parts person I would like to mention, and apologize for not remembering his name, but went out of his way to provide the added features I wanted as well as gave me some carpet protector he had on hand for free. That is GREAT customer service. I applaud all of you, and thank you for a Great Truck! All at work are commenting on it. All that have seen it comment and or rubber neck to see it again. People I don't know have come up to me and commented "Good Looking Truck!" Thank You All, and special thanks to Lou.
Sincerely,
Jerry Sander

Dear Kerry,
As the owner of GuardLine Protection Products, Toyota of Puyallup is a customer of mine. Recently I had the the privilege of being a customer of yours.
It began with a vandal slashing 2 of the tires on my '07 Toyota Tundra. I had the truck towed to your dealership that night and, even though the service department was closed, I was still able to get a loaner car that night. The next day Lynn Trueblood contacted me and informed me of my options for the repairs. I ended up with 4 new tires with very little out of pocket expense, all while never having to be without a car!
Your dealership is one of the finest businesses I have the pleasure of working with, both as a business person and as a customer. Thank you so much for the great effort you and your people, like Lynn, put forth to make sure that all of your customers receive the absolute finest service.
Sincerely,

Dear Kerry,
Thank you for your recent letter regarding our purchase of a 2009 Toyota Sienna XLE from Greg Haifley at Toyota of Puyallup. We were very happy with our experience with Greg, both at this purchase and our prior purchase in Dec 07. Greg was professional, helpful, thoughtful, and thorough. We were pleased with the service both he and the dealership provided. We would gladly recommend him and Toyota of Puyallup to anyone looking for a quality vehicle and quality service. Best wishes for you, Greg, and the dealership in 2009.

"Is it a tank? No it's a safari car. No it's a Tonka Toy. What ever it is we love it!"
That was our conversation when we first saw an FJ Cruiser. When we found out it was a Toyota we said perfect...we want one! We've always wanted a Toyota. We'd heard good things about them, but we are always leary about walking on to a car lot. We don't want to be sold to...we want to sell ourselves. When we first saw the FJ there was an immediate connection between us and the car. We had heard about Kerry Bivens and her incredibly good reputation in the car market. We decided to drive to Toyota of Puyallup. We looked at an FJ with absolutely no pressure from a salesman. We decided to get one. The whole transaction was quick and simple. We drove away with a blue FJ. A week later we came back and bought a yellow one. Now we have "his and hers"!
By the way, Jerry Nix our sales guy grew up in the same town as Abraham Lincoln...how cool is that? You can trust these people.
Sincerely,
Icahbod and Scallops

Dear Ms Bivens -

12/10/08 |
I want to take a few minutes to tell you about our recent experience of shopping and eventually buying a car from your dealership.
We were looking into getting a new car recently, and after much research (and discussion between us) decided on a Highlander Hybrid. We are Costco members, and decided to see just how good of a deal we could get. So I requested a quote, and was led to your store. Josh Nestorov in your internet department contacted me within an hour, and the process began.
My wife and I generally view car sales persons with a quite a bit of skepticism. In fact, I almost dreaded going through the process, even though there was a legitimate need to change vehicles. Josh was the antithesis of the stereotype, and his approach pretty much sealed the deal. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The price was fair, he was very patient as I shuttled back and forth several times trying to decide on exactly which car we wanted (colors, options, etc.). In fact, he joked that I was coming in so often that I was going to get added to the payroll if I came back one more time.
If Josh is any indication of the people you have working for you, then you truly have a winning team. We did have limited interaction with a few other of your team (Chuck and Cliff, and the folks in your parts and service departments). I must say that they are the type people that I will enjoy doing business with in the future.
So, hats off to you, and please keep up the good work.
Yours truly,
Greg Dunbar |

I'd just like to say that the purchase of my 2009 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 was my best experience as a new truck buyer. Bryan and Jeff went above and beyond the norm to find the truck I was looking for and seeing to it that it met my expectations. They both listened to my issues and concerns. They were not only more than helpful, they were patient with me and my concerns became theirs to resolve. They took care of all my issues and with a smile on their faces. I was so very please with these two.
Tricia did my paper work. She was friendly, informative and professional. I liked it that she took care of me in a timely manner. I bought the extended warranty, the maintenance service plan, simonize service and I bought a set of tube steps to be installed.
I brought my truck in on Wednesday the 19th for the simonize service, under coat and to have the steps installed. Mike took care of me. I had some concerns and some questions for him as well. He was reassuring and had an answer for all my questions. I picked up my truck just before closing and WOW was I delighted. Everything was done right, the steps looked awesome. The truck was beautiful sight to behold. Thanks to Mike and a special thanks to everyone in the maintenance department that had anything to do with my truck at all. Great job and I appreciate the fine care.
Over all I am very much impressed with everyone I had contact with. Your whole facility was impressive it is clean and well kept. I am so happy to be a new and very satisfied costumer of yours
Thanks!

Good afternoon, I just wanted to take this opporunity to recognize and commend one of your friendly salesman, Richard Walker. I walked into your dealership on Oct. 14, 2008 not realizing I was going to drive away in a 2009 Corolla that evening. My brother and I intended to test drive and window shop, however, it must have been my luck to have such an amiable and courteous salesman, Richard Walker. He was very patient and cordial and he made me feel comfortable while negotating the terms. In fact, I was impressed with everyone involved, his manager, and the finance department (Teresa) during the sales transaction. Everyone was proficient and professional and I would recommend your dealership to anyone. Thank you for making my purchase a comfortable and a joyous experience. I commend you all!
Best wishes,

We also would like to thank Lou Vigoreaux for our first wonderful experience to Toyota of Puyallup on the purchase of our Solara. You have an "Excellent Staff"..... Please share this e-mail with everyone mentioned.

Dear Sir/Madam:
|
Sept 23rd 2008 |
I recently had some warranty work performed on my 2007 Avalon. It was a major defect, but everything went off "seamlessly." I dealt with your representative Mike Bibeau. I first came in contact with Mike when I purchased a new 1973 Toyota Corolla from Toyota of Puyallup. I was fresh out of law school and he was a young service writer. He was always willing to help, and did so with a smile, and I always left the dealership completely satisfied. This is true to the day.
I feel that I am not a number, not even a customer, but a friend with a problem that he is trying to help out. He takes care of things as promised and I have never received the "runaround" and always leave your dealership completely satisfied. He is a credit to your organization and I do not hesitate to recommend Toyota of Puyallup to potential customers.
Sincerly

I bought a 2002 EB Explorer from you at the Wallup. It came with a 3 month 3,000 mile warranty. A noise developed in the transmission, I hoped you would fix it, but I thought I would have to fight for it. I bought it in and Fred, from your service department, kept me informed at every step of the way. You replaced my transmission; your customer service and communication was great, I am impressed!
Thank you!

Hi Josh,
Unfortunately, and I say unfortunately, the wife and I purchased a vehicle from a very nearby Subaru dealership. They gave us what we thought was a good deal. Now were spending $4,000.00 to fix it two days after we spent $10,500.00 cash for the purchase. Thank you for being so polite to us as we realize that we may not drive the fanciest vehicles or wear designer clothing. Your dealership treated us better than any other dealer we visited, unfortunately we made a bad decision and purchased from that other dealership.

Kerry,
We have been customers of Toyota of Puyallup since 1988. Everyone knows us by name, we feel like we are treated like family.
Recently the check engine light came on our 2001 Toyota Tacoma. We called Lori in Service, she arranged for Rick Jones to check things out. We really appreciate how quick Lori was able to get us in. Rick told us it is our catalytic converted. He said he might still be able to get it covered under our warranty, he said he would talk Rich Connely, Assistance Service Manager. A couple of days later Rick called to say Rich said Toyota will cover the part, we just need to pay for the labor.
Mike Bibeau, Service Writer, always does an excellent job of accurately writing up the service to be preformed on our vehicle. He takes the time to verify the service to be preformed when we check in. We greatly appreciate Rick Jones, Mechanic, talking to Rich Connely about covering this under warranty. Rick was able to replace the catalytic converted within 4 days of identifying the problem. Rick had the job finished in less than an hour on Saturday, May 10th. A huge thanks to Rich Connely for agreeing to only charge us for the labor, and Toyota taking care of the cost of the part! We have been loyal customer of Toyota of Puyallup for approximately 20 years. We highly recommend Toyota of Puyallup to our friends and acquaintances - for service, and purchasing vehicles and parts.
We will continue coming to Toyota of Puyallup for service and purchasing vehicles & parts, as well as continuing to recommend Toyota of Puyallup to our friends and acquaintances. All because of the excellent service we have received from Rick Jones, Lori, Mike Bibeau, Rich Connely, Danny Loomis, Eric and Lloyd in Parts.
Would you please share this email with everyone we mentioned.
Thanks,
Brian Jackson & Sherrill Apling

I want to thank Mr. Cliff Wunder and the Toyota of Puyallup staff for the great service Marie and I experienced in the purchase of our first SUV. When we first entered your massive and impressive Toyota dealership lot, we felt rather overwhelmed to say the least. Cliff was very calm and patient as we approached him with our interest in a new SUV. He immediately made us feel very comfortable. He answered all of our concerns in a way that we felt we were dealing with a true customer oriented professional. We are very happy with our 2007 RAV 4 (over 10,300 miles of pleasurable driving) that we bought through Cliff on August 31, 2007. If we decide to buy another vehicle it will be another RAV 4 or Highlander from Toyota of Puyallup. Hopefully, Cliff will still be there. I would only like to ask if you would be able to advise us (time permitting) as to when you think the optimum point of equity is if we decide to trade in our RAV 4 for another new RAV 4 Limited or possibly a new Highlander Limited. Thank you for making our new car purchase a happy and exciting experience.

Dear Kerry,
My name is Vongsant (Vince) Chaijaroen. I purchased a 2008 Highlander on 21st December, 2007 with the
assistance from Greg Haifley, your sales consultant. I shopped around for a Highlander prior to your dealership. I am impressed with the service and the courtesy that Greg gave me. I was able to look around at your facility for my prospected vehicle without feeling intrusive about asking for more information. I never felt pushed around by your sales consultant, in comparison to the sales representative at the other Toyota dealers along Highway 167.
I consider myself a Toyota family member. My first Toyota was a new 1986 Toyota Supra. Then in 1987, I purchased a two wheel drive Toyota pickup. I also purchased a used Toyota Cressida that year and a Toyota Land Cruiser in 1994.
I am not surprised you've received awards for so many years in a row. It's disappointing to see other dealership also claim a similar status on TV or radio commercials. I completely agree with D.C., the person who purchased fifteen vehicles from you. Even after the sale, Greg treats me like the first day I met him while looking for a Toyota Highlander. I would not know the difference on the commercial if I've not experienced myself, Greg Haifley is the proof at Toyota of Puyallup. Thank you especially to Greg for having an utmost courtesy salesmanship making a customer feel free to look around on your lot with my wife.
I hope to work with Greg Haifley again at your dealership for my next vehicle. Meanwhile, I'll certainly refer anyone I know who's in the market for a new vehicle to your dealership.
Sincerely,
Vince Chaijaroen

I wish to thank you for both the excellent service and the professional people that you employ. As well as the outside contractor, Guardline.
Our overall experience with Toyota of Puyallup has been exceptional, from the very beginning, we were very pleased with the attitude, knowledge, and pressureless sales person, Greg Haifley, your caring and professional people in the service Department, and our dealings with Jake Culver @ Guardline.
You can be assured that anyone that we know that is in the market for a car will be directed to your facility.
We wish you all the best in the comming year.
Warm regards,
Louis & Elizabeth Herbert.

ATTN: Chuck, Jeff and Teresa
I am sending you this email to say THANK YOU a lot for the great service
that I was provided during the purchase of my wife Highlander last
December. I wanted to email before but I was too busy cruising in our
new vehicle ;-).
I want to say thanks first to Chuck Scott for reply to my email and keep
in touch while I was out of the US during my "search" and also for
helping me to give my wife the surprise that I had plan for her. Next is
Jeff Goossens, thanks for keeping my business real and for looking out
there for the vehicle that I wanted with the options that I wanted and
not the vehicle that the dealer want to sale. I also want to thanks to
the beautiful and always smiling Teresa Ackley-Nollenberger, she not
only was explaining everything clear, she also was making the "worst
part" of the buying-a-car-process go smooth, not in a hurry and really
understandable.
Like I said at the beginning I want to say thanks for the whole process
and I also want to mention that you all were really professional and
respectful in all phases of the purchase.
I will also like for you to forward this message to your supervisor or
store manager because sometimes (maybe a lot, not sure) they don't see
that their employees/team are doing an outstanding freaking job, like we
say here in the Army, but we change the second word for, imagine which
one.
Very Respectfully,
Neftali Diaz
PS: I can't wait to meet the service team. I know they are going to be
as greatest as you guys.

Dear Ms. Bivens,
I wanted to send you this note to acknowledge the teamwork at Toyota of Puyallup towards customer service excellence during our buying experience of a Toyota Sienna Limited. Our search for the perfect Sienna started over 6 weeks ago when we first contacted your dealership along with 10 other Toyota dealers in Washington and Oregon. Your team was unmatched in professionalism by supporting our buying decision with: information; responsiveness to our inquiries; competitive pricing; and most of all "listening skills". We were touched by many from your team and we would like to recognize the following individuals:
- Chris Matala for being our customer advocate and answering our countless emails and questions. Chris found us the "near perfect" Sienna Limited from your Toyota Dealer allocation but it was the wrong color so he "preference ordered" it in the color we wanted, Blue Mirage.
- Rob Pearson for locking up the allocation in our name and added another option (rear spoiler) to the order. Rob also helped with the customer delivery process when we finally stopped by to make the final purchase of our Sienna.
- Sharron Putrick-Gonzales for answering emails on Chris' day off. We finally caught on that Chris was off on Thursday and Friday.
- Dave Hubbard for being the customer representative during the customer delivery process (covering for Chris who was out ill recovering from his back injury). Dave demonstrated the numerous options on our new Sienna Limited. He was very personable and made it fun!
- Teresa Ackley-Nollenberger for handling all of the purchase and licensing paperwork and quickly explaining post sales service & warranty package alternatives without any pressure tactics.
- The detailing team that made sure our van was washed and had a full tank of gas!
I believe this note clearly demonstrates that Toyota of Puyallup places a high priority on Total Customer Satisfaction! We will confidently spread the word about our positive experience to our friends, family, and co-workers that the place to buy a new vehicle is Toyota of Puyallup.
Best regards,
Tim & Amy Jors Sammamish, WA

Wanted to write to let you know how very pleased I am with my sales experience at
Toyota of Puyallup. I live in LA and was in need of buying a car for my mother who lives in Tacoma. It is not an easy task to shop online and over the phone. I tried several dealerships in the area and did not get much help. Then I came into contact with Monty Montague. I explained my story.....my mom is battling cancer, I need to get her a safe comfortable car to get to and from her treatment and stay within my budget. Monty took excellent care of me. He has great follow through and top rated customer service. I was a long time manger for Nordstrom and have very high expectations. Monty rose to the challenge. I purchased a Toyota on Sunday and delivered it to my mother who stood in the driveway with tears of happiness rolling down her cheeks. Congratulations on having such a fine salesmen on your staff. Please pass on my thanks to Monty and his associates.
I will recommend Monty to friends.
Fondly

On September 15, I purchased a new 2008 Toyota Corolla from your dealership.
I bought a new Camry back in 1994 and until August of this year it remained the best, most reliable car
I've ever owned! It was because of those 13 years of history that when my Camry was totaled in a
broadside collision, I made the decision to try to purchase another new Toyota.
I said "try" because I wasn't certain if I could get the payments down to what my budget could afford. I'd
done a little research and decided to try your dealership first, let the salesman know upfront what I could
do and then If he was unable (or unwilling) to work within my boundaries... I'd drive on down the road to
the Hyundai dealer and see what they could do. Now, Hyundai is Not a Toyota, but I do believe they're a
good car.
Nick Riippi greeted us that Saturday morning and I let him know exactly what I wanted and what I could
afford. He actually listened, He pointed out a couple of different Corollas and while I took the one I
liked for a test drive, he got all the numbers together. When we returned Nick had everything ready (
including a "deadpan face" to make me think( that it wasn't good news) and he had stayed within the
payment amount I'd requested.
Nick is pleasant, fun, professional and above all he listened to me and not once did he try to push anything
that was outside of my limits. Nick made what could have been a frustrating ordeal into a positive
experience.
It would be unfair to not also tell you that your Finance Manager Sue Crabill, was awesome! She was
informative, helpful, ready to answer my questions and concerns and made signing all those papers not
quite so Intimidating.
Kerry, with great professionals like Nick Riippi and Sue Crabill on your staff, It dosn't surprises me little that your Toyota of Puyallup dealership consistently merits the high honors it receives
It was a real pleasure. Thank you!

I bought my 2004 Sequoia at your dealership and I have had all of my services done there as well.
I was in again today to make sure my alignment was okay. I want to commend your entire organization for their courtesy, prompt service and especially their customer service.
I usually deal with Fred when I bring my vehicle in. He is always pleasant and gets me on my way. He is prompt to return a call or inform me if there is a question about what the next step will be when something I didn't anticipate is found.
Richard is perfect for the job shuttling customers. He is always so friendly, he is very careful driving and always willing to have a conversation while we're driving. He never seems to get flustered by traffic and genuinely seems to enjoy what he is doing.
Lloyd Garon has been very helpful to me when I needed to purchase floor mats, cargo nets, and so many additional items I wanted for my vehicle. I have appreciated the assistance of both Lloyd and Eric.
I want to express my gratitude for the exceptional care I receive each and every time I have been into your dealership. I know there are many other people involved that I don't talk with directly or I am not familiar with their names that also deserve to be thanked. I'm sorry I can't mention everyone by name.
Will you please extend my thanks to all. You have an excellent staff.
Sincerely,

I just wanted to let you know about the excellent service from Eddie Staudinger. This was our second purchase from him and it went just like the first. No problems at all. Dear Kerry,
I just wanted to tell you about the exemplary customer service I received today.
This morning on my way back to work my engine warning light came on. I lifted the hood, checked the oil and couldn't see any oil on the dipstick. I checked the garage floor and didn't see any signs of leakage and in a panic I called the service department and explained the situation. I had just had my oil changed at your dealership at the end of January and couldn't understand why I couldn't see the oil level when my Sienna has never burned oil before.
I was put through to Fred and without hesitation he sent a courtesy van over to the bakery where I work with a quart of oil and had the driver check it out (which arrived within 15 minutes after my call). Although Richard could not see the oil level on the dipstick, he did note that he could see that the stick was "wet" and called Fred to verify that I could drive the vehicle the 1.5 miles from the bakery to the dealership for a closer look. Fred immediately made space available on the schedule to have the service department look into the problem.
Upon my arrival at the dealership Laurie greeted me and immediately Fred updated her on my situation and called for a courtesy van to return me to work. Before Laurie could even complete my paperwork, the courtesy driver was ready and waiting for me. I hadn't even gotten back to the bakery when Fred had called and left a message for me regarding my car. He had gone out and checked the oil level himself even before having the service department workers move my car out of the drop off bay). To my embarrassment, the oil was completely full. Apparently the new synthetic oil that you use is almost clear and difficult to see on the dipstick when it is still fresh & new.
We discussed the new oil and I gave him authorization to do a diagnostic/repair on the engine light. Within a couple of hours I had a call that my vehicle was ready and waiting for me.
I honestly could not believe the personalized service I received. I felt as if I was the only Toyota owner in the world and they were just waiting for me to call so that they could come to my rescue. I have always received wonderful service from your dealership and I am a loyal customer but today was over the top and I must say with the most heartfelt hug that Toyota of Puyallup IS THE GREATEST and forever you will have me as a customer!!
Please share my gratitude to Fred, Laurie, Richard and all that were involved my vehicle's repair.
Sincerely,
Pattie Bostwick

Dear Ms. Bivens,
I would like to compliment you regarding your staff. We recently purchased a 2007 Prius from your firm. Eddie Staudinger was the sales person that assisted us. This is the second vehicle that we have purchased with Eddie's assistance. I find him to be both effective and respectful of my expectations in the decision-making and negotiation processes. In both of our dealings with Eddie he went beyond our expectations by traveling to south Tacoma to get signatures on paper work for vehicles we were trading in. In addition he has pleasantly followed-up the transactions with offers of assistance. It was for these reasons that we returned to your dealership for this purchase. We had essentially the same "deal" available to us in Olympia. But we chose to complete the transaction with Toyota of Puyallup.
I would also like to say that Cliff Samuels was also very helpful in his role in the transaction. In my experience that stage of a purchase has not always been pleasant. Rather heavy handed sales pressure has been applied to purchase "extras". Mr. Samuels made all of those options available to us and explained their benefits, but he respected our judgment and decisions.
You have a staff and dealership of which you can be proud.
Sincerely,
Larry Swift

Mrs. Kerry Bivens,
Just wanted to let you know of the great customer service my wife and I received at your dealership. After an accident with our new 2007 Tundra in your car wash after getting a Line-X sprayed in the bed of the truck, Matt Penrose (General Sales Manager) was very helpful with finding a new truck for us, we had looked at many Toyota dealerships around the Seattle/Tacoma area before finding a Tundra that had everything we wanted on it. Mr. Penrose went out of his way to find us the same truck, keeping us informed daily of the status of the new truck. Matt is top notch in service recovery and very professional. From our sales man Michael McGuire to Rich Conley (Customer Relations Manager) you have a award winning customer service team. My wife and I are very impressed with your staff to make sure we had everything we needed from the loaner car to keeping us informed. We are now life long customers of Toyota Of Puyallup. Please pass on our gratitude to Matt, Rich and Michael McGuire.
Sincerely,

Dear Mr. Penrose,
In 1994 I purchased a used 1990 Toyota X-cab 4x4 truck from Toyota of Puyallup, and I have to say it has been the best vehicle I have ever owned, giving me 353,000 trouble free miles. Toyota quality and reliability brought me back to you again recently, when I completed the purchase of a new 2007 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab 4x4 truck from your dealership. I wanted to express my pleasure in dealing with Toyota of Puyallup again, and especially to note the great service I received from your salesman, Mr. Bryan Elder.
I originally stopped in one Saturday afternoon, and he came out in the driving rain with an umbrella to assist me. When it came time a few weeks later to actually make a purchase decision, I asked for him specifically, and he was very helpful and quite professional in every regard. I am happy with the deal I received, and I'll continue to recommend your company.
Thank you.

Dear Kerry,
I wanted to congratulate you and your staff on a job well done! It came as no surprise to see the two page insert in the July 24th Time magazine. Being a retired military family, we are very grateful to you and all the members of your team for the support of our troops overseas. The friendliness, professionalism, and enthusiasm of your dealership, extends far beyond the showroom.
Since April we have purchased two vehicles from your dealership, and I can say without reservation that Toyota of Puyallup is the best experience we have had while purchasing vehicles around the country. I would like to recognize some of your staff who made the car buying process enjoyable.
Danny Loomis was the first person to greet us, and I have admit we felt a little off balance by his easy going approach and friendliness, compared to what we experienced at a local dealership. After he helped us with the purchase of a Highlander Hybrid, I told him we wanted to find a used smaller commuter vehicle, and within three weeks he called to inform us that an Echo had been traded in, and we eventually purchased that vehicle. Danny is a true asset to your team. Tricia Larson and Chuck Whitney were great to work with on the financial side of the processes. And every person who helped us in your service department for our first complimentary oil change exemplified those attribute of professionalism and courtesy. Again, thanks to all you there at Toyota of Puyallup.
To Your Success,
Kevin and Jackie Sumner

To Steve and Puyallup Scion,
Sorry it took so long to get this email out. First I want to state that my purchase of the Scion Xa was the best experience I have had buying a car in a long time. You, Eddie, Cliff and your team were very accomodating and made sure that my needs were met on the spot. I can not over state how well both I and Paula were treated, and how your team worked to get my transaction accomplish as soon as they possibly could. I am very pleased with my car and would do the drive from Beaverton again knowing that the service your team provides is the best in the Oregon and Washington! Thanks again to all that assisted me in my transaction.
You are number one on my referral to family and friends. Good luck in your endeavours.
Sincerely,
D.Diaz
